Welcome to the official website of Heavy Metal Magazine’s First Online Comic: Gates, created by Hal Hefner.

The website officially launches on Sunday 10-31-10 –HALLOWEEN!

Beginning on 1.1.11 , this website will launch the comic beginning with Page 1, and updating on a weekly basis. After the initial run of the online comic, it will be collected into a limited collectors edition book and will be available for purchase.

In homage to the spirit of Heavy Metal, Gates promises to deliver an action packed story filled with over the top science fiction, beautiful babes and legendary battles. We also wanted to give fans the feel of the Heavy metal movie and will be including a dazzling soundtrack to accompany the science fiction epic.

Please stay tuned for updates including all types of behind the scenes videos, animation, Easter egg like goodies and so much more.
