Shoutouts to BLABBERMOUTH! who saluted Black ‘N Blue and Hemoptysis as well as Fearnet who wrote a great article focused on Rusty Eye, one of the rockin’ metal bands on the Gates Soundtrack in which all proceeds go the Ronnie James Dio “Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. Since the announcement on Thursday, things have been lots of fun and very positive!

When Ronnie James Dio passed away from stomach cancer, Wendy Dio started the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. The Fund is 100% non-profit and a 501(c)(3) charity.
As of July 2011, the foundation has raised over $500,000 from fans, friends and fellow artists, musicians and creators–to help find a cure for cancer.
AND OUR GOAL IS TO BLOW THAT AWAY!
And this is all because of the talented bands, artists and creators that have joined forces to the benefit of the foundation. So I give them a huge round of applause.
