Nineball

 Nineball is a gritty and punishing rock band from the dark and eerie woods of upstate NY. Their song River, ROCKS the Gates soundtrack. Front man Joe Sweet, is a talented musician who is leading the charge for Nineball in a blast of energy through New York. Sweet has been instrumental in promoting, organizing and keeping music alive and breathing in the upstate New York region.

Nineball is an original, hard rock/alternative blitzkrieg from Utica, NY taking the region by storm.

Formed in 1993. Nineball rose to the top of the independent music scene in the Mohawk Valley area with an army of fans behind them. Members went their separate ways to work on other projects in 1998 but reunited in 2010 to record a new album called NINEBALL which officially released on June 3rd. 2011. Nineball is currently booking aggressively to promote the album in the Upstate New York region.

The backbone of Nineball is its rhythm section. Ken Delaney on drums and Scott Henderson on bass work together and off each other to give this band’s sound great movement and a deep low end. Dallas Sheppard’s alternatively driving and melodic approach on guitar rounds things out and adds color to support Joe Sweet’s present and confident vocals. The band is tight, aggressive and professional and Sweet is a consummate front man who can command a crowd.

Nineball will remind you of all of the hard rock bands you love and most importantly, they’ll come to be one of the hard rock bands you love.
